Ballet: Level-based colored leotard; pink tights; pink ballet shoes; boys- white, black or color shirt to match to level; black tights or dance pants; black ballet shoes with black socks
Levels 1 & 2: Light Pink Leotards
Levels 3 & 4: Light Purple/Lilac Leotards
Level 5: Dark Blue/Navy Leotards
Level 6/Advanced: Black Leotards
Tap: Anything dancers can move easily in- please no oversized baggy clothing; black tap shoes
Hip Hop: Anything dancers can move easily in; tennis shoes; oversized/baggy clothing encouraged

Policies and Procedures
Welcome to Artistry Dance Movement! We are proud to offer high quality dance training at all levels by qualified dance instructors. Our ten-month season offers your student dance education in a fun, welcoming and artistic environment. There are two performances during this session. Our Holiday Showcase in December and we conclude or 10-month Season with a professional dance recital in early June giving your accomplished dancer an incredible performance opportunity.
The Summer Dance Season starts July 7, 2025 and ends August 7, 2025.
The summer dance season includes the Summer Intensive, Kids camps and Summer evening classes. There will be no performance or costume fees associated with this season. Camps and Intensive will be charged at time of registration and evening classes will be billed July 15th, 2025.
The Fall Dance Season starts Monday, August 18, 2025, and will end on June 10, 2026.
Registration
There is a $50 Registration fee per family. This fee is non-refundable and is charged to your payment method upon registration, along with your first month’s tuition.
You will create a parent portal, choose your student’s classes, and enroll in autopay for convenient, no worry, payments. All accounts will be required to have a credit/debit card on file or sign up for ACH payments upon registration.
Billing Policies
Tuition is due on the 15th of each month. Your method of payment on file will be automatically charged the full balance on your account on the 15th of each month. Tuition is the same regardless of how many weeks/classes are in a month.
If your payment is declined for any reason, you will be contacted by ADM. From the contact date, you will have 10 days to remedy the payment. There is a $50 recovery fee if your account is not paid within the allotted time frame and your dancer will be suspended from class until a successful payment is made.
Any account that requires collection will also be responsible for court costs and attorney fees. If, for any reason, your dancer drops out of their class after March 15, 2026, your payment method on file will be charged $50 per class dropped and be subjected to additional choreography fees determined by ADM and your recital fee will not be refunded.
General Rules
Students may not chew gum in class.
ADM is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Absolutely no food or drink (except bottled water) will be allowed on the dance floor.
The lobby and dressing room areas need to be kept quiet and clean by students and parents. Students must remain inside the reception area until a parent picks them up.
Please be at the studio to pick up your dancer on time. A $10.00 courtesy late charge will be charged to you for a staff member/teacher having to watch your child for longer than 15 minutes past the conclusion of the last class of the night. Staff is not responsible for watching children in the lobby/dressing room outside of the normal class time.
Holiday Show Information
A holiday show fee of $15 per performance class will be billed on November 15th and is non-refundable. This fee covers costumes, cost of the venue and other show related expenses.
Recital/Costume Information
A recital fee of $80 per family will be billed on March 15th and is non-refundable. Recital fee covers the cost of the venue and other show related expenses. You will also receive a video of the recital included in this fee.
Costumes will charge based on the level of class and be split into two equal payments. First payment will be invoiced and appear on your January 15th billing, the second payment will be invoiced and appear on your February 15th billing. If dance tights are a part of the costume, they will be provided and included with your costume.
Creative Movement and Primary Combo Classes: $65 Costume Fee
Level 1-3 Classes: $75 Costume Fee
Levels 4 and up: $85 Costume Fee
Costumes are non-refundable once the order is placed. All dancers have the option to not be in the recital. All classes except “Turns, Leaps & Extensions”, “Ballet Technique”, “Acro”, and “PP Modern/Choreography” will perform in the recital.
In specific situations, full or partial costumes may be a supply your own and will be charged based off the costume selected not to exceed level costume fee.
Dropping, Adding, or Changing Classes/Cancellation Policy
To ensure proper billing and class enrollment, it is your responsibility to manage your dancer’s needs to drop or add a class. Please notify the studio in writing (email) if your dancer needs to drop or add a class. Notice must be received by the 10th of the month to avoid being charged for the next month’s tuition. ADM reserves the right to cancel or combine any class due to low enrollment.
Missed Classes
Classes missed for any reason may be made up in another class within a month of absence. No refunds will be given for missed classes. Students who are frequently absent or late may be asked to schedule private lessons at the dancer’s expense, in order to learn missed recital choreography. Classes cancelled due to weather will not be rescheduled. We follow the BVSD calendar and closure schedule, if they cancel school there will not be dance held that day. Director reserves the right to call closures based off weather and/or safety concerns. Closures will be notified via email and/or social media. Your dancer may attend any other class that is their level to make this up.
Trial Classes
Each student is allowed one trial class per genre of dance that they are not currently or previously registered for.

Labor Day: Monday Sept 1st, 2025
Halloween: Friday Oct 31st, 2025
Thanksgiving Break: Nov 24th -28th 2025 (classes resume Dec. 1st)
Winter Holiday Break: Dec 22nd 2025-Jan 2nd 2026 (classes resume Jan 5th, 2026)
Spring Break: BVSD school break
Memorial Day: Monday May 25th, 2026
* Many schools have several “no school” days for professional development throughout the year. ADM still holds classes on these days.
